7 Havelock Place, Warrenpoint, Newry, Co Down, BT34 3NE

7 Havelock Place is one of a pair of two-and-a-half storey, two-bay houses, set back within a longer terrace in Ringmackilroy, Warrenpoint. The house was constructed between 1880 and 1883, as evidenced by its appearance in the Valuation book of 1883, although a house previously stood on the site prior to 1834.

The building has an artificial slate pitched roof with a large central dormer featuring modern wavy timber bargeboards and two modern skylights set into the front pitch. A red brick chimney is visible on the left gable. The walls are rendered and painted. The front features a four-panelled timber door with a plainly glazed semicircular fanlight above. All windows are modern stained timber casements with concrete cills; one is on the ground floor to the left, and two are on the first floor. The front garden is enclosed by a rendered and painted dwarf wall with modern wrought metal railings and gate, which aligns with the street line of the surrounding terrace. The left and right gables form party walls with the adjacent properties. The rear elevation remains uninspected. The building has lost its original windows and doors and currently retains no features of architectural or historical interest. It was previously listed as a record only, but was delisted on 15 June 1988.
