Description
Single storey/ three bay vernacular house with left (S) gable fronting onto Ballyholland Road. Pitched asbestos slated roof with a single red brick chimney between middle and right bays. Broad cement skew to S gable. Walls are whitewashed and rendered random rubble stone with tarred basecourse. Principal elevation faces E. There are two slightly projecting stones built into the front wall– one to right of entrance door and one beneath central bay window. All windows are 2/2 vertically divided sliding sashes with horns. Left bay has single window with roughly dressed granite cill. At left of central bay is a modern t+g sheeted entrance door (glazed upper section) and to its right is a single window without a cill. Right bay has a single window with granite cill. Left gable is blank and fronts Ballyholland road. Rear elevation has a 1/1 sliding sash window to left bay and a two-paned fixed window to central bay. Right bay is blank. Right gable is completely abutted by single bay/ single storey outbuilding with pitched natural slate roof and walls as main block. A single flat iron gate hung between two cylindrical random rubble piers with domed caps accesses small front yard. There are wheel stones to each one.
