Description

Three arches carry a minor road over the Clanrye River. Of random granite rubble throughout. Comprises two semicircular arches at S and, with angled cutwaters on up and down faces (to arch spring level). Also a smaller segmental arch at N end. The latter was possibly once a flood arch but the river bed has been deepened so that the water now flows through it as well. Parapet coped with squared granite blocks. Both faces heavily repointed in cement. Recent strengthening works to base of arches forming plinths.
