Description

A one-and-a-half storey / three bay vernacular house aligned SW-NE on a lane to the W of Drumbealimy Townland. Pitched natural slate roof with two brick chimneys, one at party wall between each bay. An advanced eaves course supports half-round metal rainwater goods. Walls are wet-dashed over a cement-rendered base course. All windows are 2/2 sliding sashes set in narrow painted cement-rendered reveals with painted stone cills (unless otherwise stated). Principal elevation faces SE. Central bay has a t+g-sheeted door to left and a window to right. Left and right bays each have a window set at centre. Left gable has a window to each floor (that to upper floor is slightly diminished in height). Rear elevation has a window to left hand-side of central bay, and a small similarly detailed window to right, set just below eaves level. Left bay has a 2/2 (horizontally divided) sliding sash window. All have concrete cills and no reveals. Right gable has a window to upper floor, also without reveal. Setting: The house is set directly facing the lane, with a small garden to rear and a complex of modern farm buildings to NE.
