7 & 9 Quay Road, Ballycastle, Co Antrim, BT54 6BJ

This is a pair of two-and-a-half-storey terrace houses located at 7 and 9 Quay Road, Ballycastle, dating to the late 19th century and currently undergoing renovation. They are a five-bay-wide building with a basement. The ground floor features two centrally positioned panelled doors, topped with glazed upper panels and each protected by a cornice canopy. Flanking the doors are two vertical windows, each with a square label moulding. The first floor incorporates five similar windows. All windows are currently boarded up. A continuous moulded stringcourse runs above the first-floor window heads, supporting an ogee gutter and a series of short downpipes from the roof. Four gable dormers, each with two-pane, top-hung windows, are set into the eaves. A corbel course sits under the eaves, featuring half-round gutters. The roof is covered in natural slates and includes a gable chimney stack and another off-centre along the ridge. The walls are smooth, rendered, and painted. Number 9 marks the end of the terrace with a gable. The houses continue the established building line of numbers 1 and 3, and include a walled front garden. These buildings, likely erected between 1880 and 1899, are shown on the Ordnance Survey Map of 1904. They lie within the Town Parks townland and are located within a conservation area.
