Description

The John North chest tomb, located 4 metres southwest of the south porch of the Church of St Lawrence, is an early 18th-century structure. It is made of Ham stone and features blue lias panels. The tomb has a ledger top and a moulded cornice. The south side is inscribed with the name John North, who died in 1721, while the north side is inscribed for Grace North, who died in 1759.
