3/147 Cow byre, about 30 m north-west of Dunpole Farmhouse (formerly listed under Civil Parish of Ilminster Without as Barn, Cowstalls and Cider Cellar in group at Dunpole Farm) 18.3.83 GV II

Cow stalls. C19. Ham stone rubble on 3 sides, fourth wall timber framed and boarded; double Roman clay tiled roof with plain gables, some thatch surviving on west slope. Timber cow stall with feeding walkway behind. Part of farm complex of considerable interest. (SSAVBRG Report, unpublished SRO, june 1983).
