Description
The cow byre, located to the north of Sundial House, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and brick with a pantile roof and stands two storeys high, featuring one opening on the first floor. The first floor has brick quoins. On the left side, there are two doorways, one of which has been converted into a window, both set beneath deep stone lintels. Above the left doorway is a brick pitching opening. A brick stack is positioned at the left end, and there is a ball finial at the right apex. The right gable, facing the road, has pointed-arched brick openings and projecting stone ledges designed for pigeons. The building is included for its group value.
