Description
Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble with a pantile roof and stands two storeys high, featuring three first-floor windows. Between the second and third windows, there is a part-glazed door set in a chamfered rusticated quoined surround, which has an extended lintel and a deep tripartite keystone. The ground-floor windows include a 20th-century four-pane casement, another 20th-century casement, and a 20th-century canted bay. The first-floor windows are smaller 20th-century four-pane casements that project up into the brick eaves course. There are brick stacks located between the first and second bays and between the second and third bays. The building is included for its group value.
