Description
Sundial House is a house from the early to mid-18th century located on the north side of Richmond Road in Brompton-on-Swale. It has a roughcast exterior and a Welsh slate roof, standing two storeys high with two first-floor windows and a single-storey extension on the right. The central entrance features a part-glazed four-panel door set within an architrave that has a tripartite keystone. Above the door is a sundial framed by a swan-neck pediment, which has a shell motif at the apex. The house has four-pane sash windows with ashlar sills and lintels, shaped kneelers, and ashlar copings. There are white brick stacks at both ends, and the extension also has a four-pane window with ashlar coping to the right.
