Description

The Pyke family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 24 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Nicholas. This late 18th-century tomb is made of Ham stone and features a ledger top with a cyma recta moulded cornice. It has a moulded plinth and end pilasters that are divided into three unequal panels. The north and west faces of the monument are eroded. The south face is inscribed with the name of George Pike, who died in 1777.
