Description

The Palfrey family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 4.5 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Aldhelm and St Eadburgha. It dates from the 17th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a flat top with a thick slab and concave moulding. The name of Edward Palfrey is inscribed on all faces, with the inscription visible on the west end.
