Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, dating from the mid-18th century. It is made of Ham stone and features a ledger top, a moulded cornice, and a plinth. The tomb has moulded surrounds to raised and fielded panels on all sides. The north face is inscribed, although the name is not visible; however, the date of 1759 can be discerned. The tomb is situated 500 millimetres west of the north porch of the Church of St Nicholas.
