Description
Camel Farm Cottage is a detached cottage, formerly two separate dwellings, likely built in the 17th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a double Roman clay tiled roof featuring coped gables. The cottage has two storeys and consists of four bays. The windows are small-pane casements, mostly arranged in three lights, with a two-light window in the upper bay. There is a panelled door in a heavy frame leading to the lower bay two, and a 20th-century French door in the lower bay four. A single-storey outbuilding, which was originally a waggon shed and is now used as garages, is located at the north-west corner and matches the cottage in style. The interior has not been seen.
