Description
The range of farm buildings on the west front of West Bovey Farmhouse dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from random rubble local stone with brick dressings and features double Roman tiled roofs, including a barn with a hipped roof. The layout consists of an L-plan range of shelter sheds that form the north and west sides of a fold yard, with the barn located on the east side, parallel to West Bovey Farmhouse. The linhay has 6 to 10 bays supported by circular piers, while the barn is two storeys high with three bays and irregular openings.
