Description
West Bovey Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble with brick dressings, quoins, and a plinth, topped with a pyramid slate roof and featuring a central brick stack. The building has a double pile plan facing south, with a service wing set back to the west. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with segmental headed voussoirs that include keystones and flat surrounds to 16-pane sash windows. The central entrance features a pedimented ashlar doorcase with a 6-panel door, which is approached by a short flight of steps.
