Description
Hagley Bridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with alterations from the 17th century. It is constructed of rendered cob and random rubble, topped with a slate roof and features brick stacks, including a large stepped stack to the left of the entrance. The building has an L-shaped plan with a single-storey projection at the angle, which is covered by a catslide roof. It stands two storeys high and has a three-one-one bay arrangement, with three and four light casements and a round-headed arch doorway that has been glazed in the centre. Inside, there are four pairs of jointed cruck trusses. To the right of the cross passage, there is a hollow chamfered beam compartment ceiling, with a staircase bay located to the right of the fireplace.
