Description
This is a detached cottage located 10 metres south-east of the Stags Head Inn, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed Cary stone and features a plain clay tiled roof with stepped coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The cottage has two storeys and two bays. On the upper level, there are 2-light casements with rectangular leaded panes and iron-framed opening lights. The lower level has 2-light small-pane casements set under timber lintels. Between the bays, there is a boarded door with a diamond-glazed panel, which is framed by rustic timber and leads to a tiled open porch. Additionally, there is an apparent 18th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been seen.
