Description

Wesley Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed from roughly cut and squared ham stone with ashlar dressings. It features a double Roman clay tiled roof between high stepped coped gables, which suggest it may have originally had thatch, and has brick chimney stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays.

On the upper level, there are 20th-century timber casement windows with horizontal glazing bars, arranged in groups of three and four lights. The lower level features chamfered mullioned windows with four lights in chamfered recesses, complete with labels and iron-framed opening lights; the window in the third bay has rectangular leaded glass. In the second bay, there is a cambered-arched doorway that is accessed by one step, leading to a 19th-century part-glazed door set in a recess.

Attached to the west gable is a single-bay extension with a Welsh slate roof and casement windows, dating from around 1900, along with another single-storey extension located to the west of this. The interior has not been seen.
