Description
Yarlington Lodge is a detached house that was formerly the Rectory, built around 1850. It is constructed of Cary stone ashlar and features hipped Welsh slate roofs, with ashlar chimney stacks arranged diagonally in groups. The house has two storeys and a three-bay south elevation, where the central bay projects and has a half-hipped roof with a shield in the gable. The windows are margined sash types set in chamfered reveals beneath labels, with paired windows. The ground floor windows are deep, and there is a single-storey angled bay in the centre. The entrance is located on the west side, accessed through a projecting single-storey porch that has a flat roof and battlemented coping with corner pinnacles, framing a pair of panelled doors set within a four-centred pointed arch. There are later extensions to the rear of the building. The interior has not been seen.
