Description

The Moore monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, next to the porch of the Church of St. Andrew. The earliest legible date on the north side is 1667, with an inscription on the east end dedicated to William Moore. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features a sunken plinth, an oblong chest with recessed panels on each face, and a heavily decayed inscription. The top is a hipped slab that has a moulded edge around its lower part.
