SO 71 SE HARDWICKE POUND LANE (north side) 4/89 Moore monument in the churchyard approximately 4m east of Smith monument to north of Church of St. Nicholas

GV II

Pedestal tomb. Dated 1791. Sandstone. Rectangular with gadrooned corner balusters. Recessed panels to ends: funereal urn to west, realistically carved floral drop to east. Large oval inscription panel with roped border and realistically carved roses in spandrels on north side; large raised oval panel with paterae in spandrels to south. Cavetto moulded top and base. Inscribed on north side to WILLIAM MOORE, died 1791. Very well preserved.
