Description
Nos 62 to 66, including a range of outbuildings to the rear, are a pair of two-storey cottages located on the southeast side of High Street, at the corner with Buckwell Row. These cottages appear to date from the mid-19th century but are likely of 18th-century origin. The front is roughcast, and the roof is covered with slate. There are five windows featuring stepped voussoir lintels, with sash windows that have thin glazing bars. In the center, there is a splayed bay with an entry to the left. To the left, there is a 19th-century doorway adorned with a cornice and brackets. On the right, there are a pair of doorways set within a trellised porch. The gable end facing Buckwell is hung with slate. Attached to the rear is a tall two-storey range of outbuildings made of red brick. Nos 62 to 66 form a group.
