Description

This is likely the oldest 18th-century house in the area. It is a three-story building with a four-window front of red brick, accented by bands of patent stone and stone voussoirs above the windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The door is framed by fluted pilasters, an arched fanlight, and a pediment. It is part of a group that includes numbers 41 to 47 (the odd numbers), and the gate piers of number 47, and numbers 49 to 55 (also the odd numbers).
