Description

No. 52 High Street is a large, much-altered two-storey building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a painted brick front and shares a continuous frontage with Nos. 48 and 50, topped by a slate roof. Above the first-floor windows, there is a moulded course. The building has three windows with shouldered architraves and sill brackets, although the sash windows have been altered. The ground floor has been modernized. This building is included in the listing for its group value with Nos. 42 to 52 (even).
