Description
The ruin of a former manor house, dating from around 1650, is located 350 metres north-west of Manor House Farm House. The structure is built from Doulting rubble and features dressed quoins and a moulded plinth. Only the "E"-shaped facade survives, consisting of four bays. It includes an ovolo-moulded stone mullioned window with five lights and transoms, while the second bay retains only a single casement. There is a central doorway that remains in the ruins of a full-height porch, which has a moulded semi-circular head with imposts, although the inner opening has been blocked. This manor house was once owned by the Duke of Buckingham.
