Description
The John and Maria Fussell chest tomb, located 5 metres west of the west front of the Church of All Saints, was built in 1853. It is made of Doulting ashlar and has a rectangular appearance reminiscent of a 13th-century shrine. The tomb features a weathered stone roof, blind trefoil side panels, and open gables that contain cinquefoils. Inside, there is a tomb chest with a Gothic cross. Additionally, there are bronze memorial tablets commemorating John Fussell, who died in 1853, and Maria Mary, who died in 1863.
