Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. John, approximately 1 metre south-west of the churchyard cross. It dates from the mid-18th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features an oval plaque, foliate spandrels, and foliate corner piers. The south side has a plain oval plaque, while the east end displays carved arms. It is topped with a moulded cornice and a pulvinated frieze.
