Description
Oakdene is an early 18th-century house in Colerne Watergates. It is constructed of rubble stone with a Bridgwater tile roof, featuring a coped gable and a paired stack at the south end. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window front. The east front features flush cyma-moulded mullion windows: two two-light windows on the upper floor, and a three-light window and a doorway within a timber porch on the lower floor. The rear elevation has one two-light and one three-light recessed ovolo-moulded mullion window to each floor, with hoodmoulds over the lower windows. A single light with a hood is present on the south end wall.
