Row of 6 cottages, in the grounds of Barrington Court, (qv). Circa 1921-25 by Forbes and Tate, for A.A. Lyle. Rubble, thatched roofs, 10 tall rubble stacks with flat cappings. Picturesque Tudor style. Symmetrical front 1:6:1:6:1 bay, 2 storeys, 1, 2, and 3-light metal casements in freestone surrounds with labels; outer-bays in projecting wings; central bay with shallow porch with front-facing gable. Six door openings in moulded 4-centred arch stone surrounds, labels, plank doorways. Porch giving onto a throughway, label. Four thatched dormers to rear elevation.
