Description
This is a row of six cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble and feature a stone slate roof, although some sections at the rear have concrete tiles. The cottages have brick stacks, some of which have been replaced with artificial stone. Each cottage has an 'L'-shaped plan and is one and a half storeys tall.
On the ground floor, there is one single-light and one two-light casement window with timber lintels for each cottage, along with two eaves dormers. All the windows are adorned with decorative hexagonal and diamond-shaped panes. Each cottage has a central 19th-century plank door set within a segmental-headed porch that has part latticework sides. The cottages also feature axial and gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, there are 20th-century flat-roofed garages, which are not of special interest.
