Description

This building is one of a pair of cottages located next to No 59. It dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The structure is made of thinly-bedded limestone with dressed stone quoins and features a stone slate roof with an ashlar stack. It has a rectangular plan and stands one and a half storeys high. The ground floor includes two 2-light casement windows with long timber lintels, while there are two 2-light gabled eaves dormers above. All the windows have hexagonal and diamond-shaped panes. There is a 19th-century plank door located off-centre to the left, which is set within a latticework porch. The cottage has a gable-end stack. The interior has not been inspected.
