Description
This stable, located 1 metre north of No. 25 Burrough Street, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed from cut and squared ham stone, with some timber weatherboarding on the sides, and features a clay pantiled roof with stepped coped gables. The east gable includes an 18th-century boarded door and frame, along with a 2-light small pane casement window to the right. Above this, there is a 2-light metal barred opening with shutters behind, all set under timber lintels. The sides and interior are not accessible. This stable contributes to the setting of The Grange.
