Description

Little Yarford Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior and a double Roman tile roof that features a slight bell cast. There is a single-storey outbuilding made of double Roman tiles that is attached to the left side and at the rear of the farmhouse. The building has brick stacks at the gable ends and to the right of the cross passage. The layout is 'T'-shaped, consisting of three cells and a cross passage, with a stair turret at the lower end and a crosswing at the rear.

The farmhouse has two storeys and is arranged in a 1:3 bay configuration. The 19th-century windows include three and four-light casements, and there is a small window in the stair turret projection on the left. The entrance is located to the centre left and features a half-glazed plank door. The right return is made of red sandstone random rubble and has two small glazed openings in the gable end. Although the interior has not been seen, it is believed to contain features of interest, including a possible cruck roof. The adjoining outbuilding does not have any windows on the entrance front, and the main entrance to the farmhouse is now accessed through the wing at the rear.
