Farmhouse. Mid C19 for Yarborough Estate. C20 additions to rear. Yellow brick in Flemish bond. Welsh slate roof. T-shaped on plan: 2-room central entrance-hall south front with stairhall aand 2-room wing to rear; later additions to rear right. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. Chamfered plinth with course of black bricks above. Doric pilastered doorcase with plain entablature and hood; 2 stone steps to half-glazed fielded-panel door beneath cornice and plain overlight in fielded-panel reveal. 16-pane ground-floor sashes in reveals with sills and stucco cambered arches. First floor: unequal 9-pane central sash flanked by unequal 12-pane sashes in similar surrounds. Wooden modillion eaves cornice. Hipped roof. Axial stacks to rear wing. Left return has 16-pane ground-floor sash to front range, round-headed stair window with glazing bars, 9-pane and 12-pane sashes, inserted 4-light casement. Interior: contains open-well staircase with ramped handrail and column balusters; panelled doors in architraves.
