Description
Yarford House is a house built around 1810, with an extension added in the early 20th century. The building is rendered over cob and rubble, topped with a slate roof. It features brick stacks at the right gable end and between the first and second bays on the left, indicating the extent of the original dwelling. The house has a double pile plan that extends one bay to the left. It is two storeys high with four bays, and has many-paned, two-light casement windows. The entrance is located in the second bay on the left and consists of a four-panel door with a rectangular light above, which has glazing bars. There is also wrought iron trelliswork on the porch. The right gable end is lit by a window on the ground floor to the left and another at the right gable end.
