Description
This is a cottage from the early 19th century located between Bayford Post Office and Hope Cottage. It is constructed from local stone coursed rubble with brick patching around the windows and is colourwashed. The roof is made of plain clay tiles and features a brick chimney stack. The cottage has two storeys and two bays. The ground floor has 8-pane and 6-pane sash windows with exposed timber lintels, while the upper floor has 2-light small pane casements. Between the bays, there is a modern boarded door in a heavy frame, which is covered by a sheet metal hood supported by wrought iron brackets. The interior has not been seen. This cottage is part of a row of three cottages.
