Description
This is a cattle shelter built in the late 18th century, originally part of the former Burton Pysent estate in the parish of Curry Rivel. The structure is long and low, featuring 17 bays constructed of brick with a tiled roof. The front is supported by Ham stone columns, although some bays have been later infilled with brick, weatherboarding, and concrete block. This building is an important part of a significant group of 18th-century farm buildings surrounding a barton.
