Description
The range of cattle sheds at Burton Farm dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of rubble with Ham stone columns and hipped tile roofs, forming a U-shape. The frontages feature Ham stone columns that support the roof, although these are now largely obscured by a 20th-century hay barn built in the farmyard, which is not considered of special interest. The outer ends of each wing are bordered by later outbuildings and a house, which also do not hold special interest. This structure is part of a notable 18th-century farmyard group, which includes an adjacent barn. The rear of the cattle sheds faces the road.
