Description

Swell Cottage is a cottage dating back to the 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coarse and squared lias stone, with a thatched roof and brick stacks. The front facing the road is a single storey with an attic, comprising two bays on the ground floor. The ground floor has 1, 3 and 5-light casement windows dating from the 20th century. The eaves are undulating at the first-floor level. A projecting brick stack is located between the bays, featuring double-Roman tiled offsets. There is a door opening to the rear of the property.
