Description

This is an 18th-century barn with a throughway located 25 meters east of the Estate Farmhouse. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with a roof covered in plain clay tiles resting on stone slate base courses. The barn features stepped coped gables topped with gabletted finials. It has six bays with double-collar trusses over the main barn area and braced queen-post trusses supporting the three-bay throughway. On the east side, there are a pair of three-part doors, along with an 18th-century boarded door in the side of the throughway.
