Description

This stable and hayloft, located 30 metres to the north-east of Nunney Castle, dates from around 1650. It is constructed of coursed and squared Doulting rubble with quoins and features a double Roman clay tile roof. The building is two storeys high, with a broad central door opening on the ground floor, flanked by window openings, one of which is partially blocked. Above this is a hayloft opening, and the doors are made of planks. The left side of the building has a door opening set in a chamfered stone surround.
