Description
The stable range to the east of Nunriding Hall is a Grade II listed building, with the southern part likely dating from the 17th century and the northern part from the later 18th century. The southern section is constructed of rubble, while the northern section features squared stone with quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof.
The elevation facing the yard consists of three bays in the right part, which is one storey high. It has a central doorway with timber lintels, flanked by windows that have been inserted into similar blocked doorways. The left part is two storeys high with four bays, featuring two stable doors with a window in between and a small window above. The lower section on the far right has been altered and is not of interest.
Inside, the southern part includes two upper-cruck trusses with collars and two levels of purlins, while the northern part has collar-beam roof trusses.
