Description
The barn and adjacent gingang located north-west of Maiden's Hall Farmhouse date from the late 18th century and early 19th century, respectively. The barn is constructed from tooled stone with dressings, featuring a roof covered in pantiles, while the gingang has a slate roof.
On the west elevation, the gingang is set forward to the left and is supported by seven stone piers, two of which are broader and stepped, topped with a conical roof. To the right, there is a boarded door in the barn wall. The right return of the barn includes a blocked pitching door and a reverse-stepped gable, which is mirrored on the left return. The rear elevation features a boarded door flanked by slit vents.
There is a later farm building to the north with a 20th-century metal roof, which is not of interest.
