Description
The barn and adjacent gingang, located to the north-west of Penny Hill Farmhouse, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from squared tooled stone with tooled-and-margined dressings and feature slate roofs. The west elevation of the barn includes a small window to the left of the gingang and a stable door to the right, topped with a hipped roof. A 20th-century doorway is present on the left return, while the right return and rear are concealed by later sheds. The gingang consists of six piers, with the northern and southern piers being broader and stepped, and it is topped with a conical roof.
