Description

Kennelman's House, located at the north-west corner of the Kennel Block, dates to the late 19th century. It is constructed of squared stone with a slate roof. The building is two storeys and three bays, with an irregular appearance. A boarded door is positioned slightly to the left of the center, above it an overlight. To the left of the door is a sash window, and to the right are two paired sashes, both having had their glazing bars removed. Above these windows are small casement windows, each with slightly projecting sills. The gables are coped and feature kneelers, with stepped and corniced end stacks. An earlier single-storey section is attached to the right, forming a structural part of the main kennel block. This section contains a four-panel door under a triangular timber hood, and a four-pane sash window. An outshut is located at the rear of the property.
