Description

The stable range to the east of Holywell Manor House is a structure that dates back to the 17th century but was remodeled in the early 19th century. The northern part of the building is constructed from large rubble, while the southern part is made from coursed rubble. The northern section has a Welsh slate roof, and the southern section features a pantile roof.

The east elevation is divided into two sections. The left part is two stories high and has two bays. It features a boarded door with a timber lintel to the right, a blocked segmental-arched doorway to the left, and three slit vents. Above, there are two part-slatted windows, and the gables are coped. The right part is single-story and shows quoins from an earlier building, although it has been largely rebuilt in the 19th century. It includes one boarded door set in an alternating-block surround and has a coped right gable. The right return displays slit vents.

The rear elevation features stable doors and an external stone stair leading to a boarded door beneath a gablet in the two-story section. To the far right, there is a projecting range with stable doors. This building is included for its group value with the manor house.

An attached brick garage to the north is not considered of special interest.
