Description

This is a late 17th and early 18th century farmhouse, with an adjacent outbuilding to the east, and it was raised in height during the mid-18th century. The farmhouse is built of coursed rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and dressings, while the outbuilding is of rubble construction. Both have Welsh slate roofs, and renewed brick stacks. The two-bay farmhouse is of two storeys and has a renewed door in an irregular-block surround, positioned slightly right of centre. There are 20th-century small-paned casement windows in what are older openings; the first floor window on the left has a keyed lintel. End stacks are present. The lower outbuilding to the right features raised reverse-stepped gable coping and a boarded window, with a smaller window below, on its return side. A later rendered outshut to the rear of the house is not considered to be of special interest.
