Description
17 Quaperlake Street is a house in a row, likely remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed of local stone rubble with rendered surrounds and features a Ludlow pattern concrete tile roof supported by abutments, along with a brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys and two bays with irregular fenestration. On the mid-left side, there is a 4-panel 19th-century door with a plain fanlight, and on the mid-right, a 4-pane sash window. Above, on the outer-left, is another 4-pane sash window, and on the outer-right, there is a 4-pane margined sash window. Inside, there is a 20th-century staircase, and most doors and decorative recesses in the living room are in the Regency style. The house is continuous with, and was originally part of, Glen House.
