Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of St John the Baptist. It is made of sandstone and features a flat top with a moulded cornice and a sunk plinth. The east and west ends of the tomb are blank, while the north and south fronts are inscribed with lettering that is still in good condition, although the names of those interred are no longer legible.
